Younger Chalk in Norfolk

The Chalk - Flamborough Section - Santonian and Lower Campanian

The Chalk - uppermost Turonian and Coniacian (composite section)

The Speeton Section - Speeton Clay A Beds and Red Chalk

Speeton Clay - Middle and Upper B Beds

Speeton Clay - Lower B Beds

The Chalk logs are composites based on different inland quarries and the coastal section at Flamborough. The bed numbers are F for flint horizons, M for marl bands and H for other beds or events.

The Speeton Clay logs are based on the work of Ian Alexander, Lynden Emery, Alistair Lomax, Simon Mitchell and my own observations.
